Dafni Beach sits at the far end of Vasilikos, about 25 minutes from Zakynthos Town. The last stretch of road is unpaved and a little rough — which keeps this beach quieter than most.

The sand is soft and golden, mixed with a few pebbles near the shore, and the water stays shallow for a good distance out — easy for families, and perfect for a slow swim. On clear days, you can see across the Gulf of Laganas all the way to Pelouzo island. Bring a mask and fins: the bay is good for snorkeling, and locals say Dafni holds onto the warmest water in Zakynthos through the summer.
